Honest status
All six tours are currently German only – narration, riddles and hints. We do not sell them to English-speaking guests yet, because the story is the heart of the game. An English version of a short route (about 45–60 minutes) is planned first, so it fits a few hours in town – for example on a river-cruise stop.
How it works
- Buy one ticket for your whole group and open it in your phone’s browser – nothing to install.
- A narrator tells the story while a live map guides you; the next riddle appears only when you are on site.
- Find the answers in inscriptions, statues and bridges of the UNESCO World Heritage old town.
- Hints at the tap of a button, a certificate and a photo album at the end.
Good to know for river-cruise guests
Bamberg’s river port is a short bus or taxi ride from the old town. The planned English route is meant to stay in the lower town by the river (mostly level, some cobblestones) and to fit a shore excursion. You will need mobile data on one phone per group.
